Q: What asset classes can I trade on E8 Markets?

A: The terminal supports trading across five main asset classes:

  • Forex — currency pairs (e.g., EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY)
  • Crypto — crypto/USD pairs (e.g., ETHUSD, BTCUSD, XRPUSD)
  • Stocks — equity CFDs
  • Futures — commodity and index futures
  • CFDs — contracts for difference on commodities like Gold (XAUUSD) and Oil (WTI Crude) Order panel asset classes

Q: How do I search for a specific trading symbol?

A: Press ⌘ + K (or click the Search markets… bar at the top of the sidebar) to open the Quick Search. Start typing any symbol name (e.g., "ETH", "GOLD", "EUR") and matching instruments appear instantly. You can also simply start typing a symbol name while the chart is in focus.

Q: Where can I find all available instruments in one place?

A: Navigate to the Trading View Chart upper left cornet or Order Panel, it displays a full, categorized list of available symbols with live prices, 24h change percentages, and filters by asset class.

Q: Are crypto instruments available 24/7?

A: Yes — crypto pairs like ETHUSD and BTCUSD trade around the clock, 7 days a week, unlike Forex (which closes on weekends) or Stocks (which follow exchange hours). Weekend availability makes crypto popular for active traders who don't want market gaps.

Q: What is the 24H High / 24H Low shown on the chart header?

A: The 24H HIGH and 24H LOW displayed next to the symbol price (e.g., High: 2,341.88 / Low: 2,296.18 for ETHUSD) show the highest and lowest traded price over the past 24 hours. These are useful as quick reference levels for intraday range and volatility assessment.
